A am delighted to announce I have been selected to participate as a part of Oriel Wrexhams Art Vend Round Three 2015 Project.
"Since 1973, Oriel Wrecsam has presented engaging, exciting and sometimes controversial exhibitions to the general public of Wrexham and further afield. We have now moved out of our Rhosddu Road building as plans for a new cultural hub in Wrexham unfold, and we are entering an exciting new phase of off-site activity. The first of our off-site projects is Art Vend, which has been developed in partnership with Leeds based Woolgather Art Collective. Oriel Wrecsam has commissioned artists to create miniature artworks, which can now be purchased for £1 each from our town centre Art Vending machine. The commissioned artists include students and professional practitioners, working both locally and across the UK. The artworks include limited edition prints, ceramic sculpture, handmade books and USB sticks containing specially created digital work, amongst many others." - ArtVend.co.uk I am delighted to be exhibiting two paintings at the Nottingham City Arts Free Frame 2015 Festival. They are both large scale paintings exploring tonal values and emotions associated with spaces.
As a part of the festival I will also be running a workshop on Wednesday the 25th November 2015 exploring mixed media collage. |
